These include RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL,...), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Riak, CouchDB, HBase,...), NewSQL, and related technologies like MapReduce with Hadoop. All skill levels are welcome as we'll both cover the basics and take a look at more advanced use cases. I'm looking forward to meeting other people interested in everything databasy.
