Details
We will have a brief discussion of the goals of MySQL and Sun following the merger, and then a talk on a different big Open Source project from Sun, OpenSolaris. The latter will be given by Isaac Rozenfeld.
Isaac Rozenfeld is part of a Global Financial Services Industry team having spent the last 9.5 years at Sun within Systems Engineering, Professional Services and the Systems Practice organizations; the last 3 years of which had been invested focusing on Solaris 10 adoption.
Isaac is a Solaris Ambassador and is also New York's OpenSolaris User Group community lead.
