We’re planning an Enterprise LAMP Summit for CTOs (Nov. 5-6) and a Big LAMP Camp for developers (Nov. 7) and want to let you know about three speakers of particular interest to companies and developers who use MySQL.
At the Summit, Jimmy Guerrero, Senior Product Marketing Manager at MySQL, will focus on the business value to enterprise of MySQL's new Cloud offerings and Software as a Service models. Baron Schwartz, Director of Consulting at Percona, which develops customized versions of the MySQL database server, XtraDB (a fork of MySQL's most popular storage engine), Xtrabackup (open-source backup solution) and Maatkit (utilities for MySQL administration) will speak along with John Busch (below) about cutting edge support, service and appliance options for open source databases.
