A good guy I know on another list posted:
Hmph. This is too painful. I'm trying to import into MySQL from a .CSV file, and *something* ain't Kosher--it gives no errors or warnings, but says it skipped umpty-ump thousand records (yeah, they're reasonably big files; that's about 1/2 of the data in this particular file.) And I'm not finding ANYWHERE that tells me just how to find out *why* it skipped those records, or which records it skipped...maybe I'm just tired. (I've used SHOW WARNINGS--but these aren't errors or warnings...) Anyone here diddled MySQL enough to have a handle on this? Searching the 'Net has been singularly unproductive. |
