The June meeting of the Boston MySQL User Group will feature Keith Murphy, editor of the MySQL Magazine (www.mysqlzine.net), speaking about backups.

We will be meeting on MIT campus, close to Kendall Square on the Red Line (subway). There is plenty of free parking -- you can park in ANY MIT lot after 3 pm, even if it says "parking by permit only". We are in building E51, room 372.

    Very useful meeting devoted to such an important topic like database back up. The speaker presented detailed analysis of why backup is needed, what should be done to backup the data, what tools are available, how they work and how to verify what you backed up.
